Reading opens doors to learning, imagination, and opportunity. The Manassas Park Education Foundation supports literacy because every student deserves access to books that spark curiosity and invite them to keep reading.
Our support includes funding book purchases and bringing the community together through events such as our Barnes & Noble Book Fair and Book Drive. Business partners and individual donors help put more books within students’ reach.
We also see literacy as something that extends beyond reading assignments. Writing, storytelling, student publishing, and family literacy experiences can help students find their voices and share their ideas. These are among the opportunities envisioned in our proposed Innovation Microgrant program.
You can help by participating in a book drive, supporting a literacy fundraiser, or partnering with the Foundation to fund books and reading opportunities.
