Students need dependable access to food throughout the week, including when school is closed. Nourishing Ninjas helps bridge that weekend gap.
Now in its eleventh year, the program provides weekend food bags to approximately 200 elementary and middle school students in Manassas Park. Each bag includes food for two breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners. Support continues across 37 weeks of the school year.
The Manassas Park Education Foundation helps sustain this work through fundraising and community partnerships. As food support expands to reach more students, that support becomes even more essential.
