Meet Kendall Bolt, Manassas Park Middle School Science Teacher

Kendall Bolt’s story with Manassas Park comes full circle. A proud graduate of the city’s schools, she now teaches in the same community that shaped her. “I went to school in MP and it was a special place then—it continues to be. It’s a tight-knit community where you really get to know students and their families,” she shared. That closeness is what keeps Kendall rooted. She sees the strength of connection not just among colleagues, but among generations of families who’ve walked the same halls. “Many students’ families have known each other for many generations,” she said. Her favorite moments come when students find their confidence. “A student telling me they believed in themselves because I believed in them—that always makes me smile.” Outside of school, Kendall recharges by riding her motorcycle and spending time with her two dogs. She describes Manassas Park in three words: Inclusive, Supportive, and Community—a fitting reflection of the spirit that drives her work every day.
