At Manassas Park City Schools, we know that students can’t learn when they’re hungry. That’s why the Manassas Park Education Foundation is proud to support Nourishing Ninjas, a school-based pantry program that ensures students have access to healthy snacks, weekend meals, and personal care items—discreetly and with dignity.
The program was founded by former MPCS teacher Audrey Baldwin and former MPCS parent Margaret Park, whose shared vision was to eliminate hunger as a barrier to learning. Thanks to their dedication and the ongoing commitment of staff and volunteers, Nourishing Ninjas continues to grow and serve families with compassion and care.
Today, Christina Solarczyk and Julia Byers lead the program at Manassas Park Elementary School, where it supports dozens of students and families each week. Whether it’s a child who missed breakfast or a family navigating a tough season, the program provides essential items with respect and discretion.
Our next step? Expanding Nourishing Ninjas to the secondary campus so that students of all ages can benefit from the same consistent support.
You can help us make that possible.
